High Level Models Gearboxes especially developed for 3mm scale models.

There are two basic gearboxes available.

Slimliner+ A three stage gearbox with a flexible final stage.

Phil Parker's J50 using a High Level gearbox.

Slimliner Compact+ A two stage gearbox with a flexible final stage.

All gearboxes are available with either 54:1 40:1 30:1 ratios and either for use with 1/8in or 2mm diameter axles.

Driverstretchers are available for both gearboxes which have an additional gear stage.

The Compact+ is available with a 12 tooth rather than a 16 tooth final gear (this changes the ratios to 43:1 32:1 and 24:1.  This gear is 7.1mm diameter for use with very small wheels.  This version is only suitable for 1.5mm axles.
